powerWindow problem!

powerWindow problem!
My driver`s side window is making bad "screaming" (skreeGG, pox, pux pox or something like that) sound when I open it. Sometimes it open`s only half way and stop`s! We can`t find the reason. Any idea?

Most common problems are the cable fraying or the motor/gear/clutch failing. You have to take off the door panel to check the cable. The motor has to be removed to check. Instructions can be found on the forum.
New/used replacements can be found on EBay. With choices being new OEM, rebuilt and new non-OEM.
A few months ago I purchased a new non-OEM from a place in Bristol, PA (EBay) and it's been working fine.
