Default tpms question
I have a 98 and I Have to mount 2 new front tires and I need to know can I take the old wheels and tires and bring them to the tire shop in my pickup and still have the sensors work. Heard somewhere that you can't seperate the wheels from the car for a long distannce but did a search and couldn't find the answer any help would make my life easier I don't want to get into reprograming.

Not true. Also, if your sensors are original, you should consider new ones as their life span is about over.
