Default Cooling fan replacement

My 2000 model stated running hot. I looked at the radiator and noticed the low temp fan had come detached from the motor shaft. I need to separate the fan assembly from the radiator but don't see how to do that. does any one have a procedure to separate the two?

it comes out the bottom, if that helps

Just a little more info from the Service Manual.

Fan Shroud Replacement
Tools Required
J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

Removal Procedure
Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .



Remove the radiator support. Refer to Radiator Support Replacement .
Reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp from the radiator using J 38185 .
Remove the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.
Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.



Disconnect the cooling fan electrical connectors.
Remove the forward lamp harness from the retaining clips on the shroud.



Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp from the radiator using J 38185 .
Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.
Lower the vehicle.
Remove fan shroud.
Installation Procedure




Install the fan shroud.
Raise the vehicle.



Install the radiator outlet hose to the radiator.
Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp to the radiator using J 38185 .



Install the forward lamp harness to the retaining clips on the fan shroud.
Connect the cooling fan electrical connectors.



Lower the vehicle.
Install the radiator inlet hose to the radiator.
Reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp to the radiator using J 38185 .
Install the radiator support. Refer to Radiator Support Replacement .
Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .

thanks for this. i just discovered my main fan is busted and i have to replace it.
