Default Help my DIC say "traction sys active"

Hi, can someone help me? my DIC say "traction sys active" when I drive down the road and then I lost the throtle. I have to turn the traction sys off get the throtle again.Can it have somthing to do with the tires? I have put new tires on with a difrent sise (285/30-18)??

If they are the same diameter YES, it's your tires.

A 285/30/18 is way too short for a rear tire.

If you are running that size all around, switching to a 285/35/18 size on the rear should fix it.

Wrong.

The rears must be taller than the fronts to avoid this issue.

Probably your tire sizes as noted already. Pull your codes and see if anything is there. FYI, with software, you can change the tire sizes in the computer.

Only for speedometer correction.

The TC system cannot be "tuned" for incorrect tire sizing.

Yeah, your current rear tires a bit shorter in height than that size front, this is the problem.

Switching to a 285/35/18 or 295/35/18 on the rear will solve it.
