Who here has had experience with either one?
Did you change the compression ratio?
One thing I noticed is MTI's lack of posting that the dynograph shows "ONLY STAGE II" applied and nothing else such as exhaust.
I would be so impressed if I turned over 400 rear wheel HP with the stock exhaust. (Not that I would keep the stock exhaust)
I plan to do the entire job myself. :D
Anyone have any idea how this changes resale value on this car?
Re: SLP Level1 vs MTI Level II head cam package (JMon)
Go with MTI. Their head/cam packages have been giving consistent results & if you had them do the install I think they will give you a 1 year warranty. Besides, the dyno graphs at their web page are out dated & their packages produce more numbers now. Their website will be updated soon.
What about the Car tech Stage II? any experience with this?
Also I want to makesure everything comes together as a packege, and works properally together. Nice if it would come with every gasket and seal I will need to replace in the process. Kind of like when you buy an automatic transmission rebuild kit.
Re: SLP Level1 vs MTI Level II head cam package (JMon)
I can only speak for the MTI packages. They are always top performers. The staff at MTI are proud of their work and back it up with excellent service and support during and after the install.

Cartek makes some of the fastest Head/Cam cars in the states, My car is running, but I have to send Cartek my PCM Monday so they can tune it in for my mods, I will be dynoing as soon as I get my pcm done I will keep all informed. I can tell you that even though it is untuned and running grossly rich right now, the car still screems, its downright scary.
