Fuel Pump Noise??

The driver side fuel pump on my 98 C5 is making a loud constant buzzing noise.
The buzzing noise changes tone when an electrical draw is applied, such as turning on head lights or brakelights.
Does this mean that I need a new pump?

Mine does the same and has for a long time.. So far, no problems and I don't expect any..

I asked a similar question several months ago and was told it's fairly "normal" for the fuel pump to make that noise. I've learned to block it out even though it seems "louder" after long trips.

My pump made no noise before I left, and after a 200 mile trip it was quite loud.

My 97 does it too. Sometimes it seems louder.

The fuel filter was replaced with a GM filter 2000 miles ago. The car has 59,000 miles.

It's normal on the 97-98 models, they just get a little louder the further you drive when you let it cool off it'll return to it's normal noise level.
