Default Techron Concentrated plus 12 OZ

Auto zone has a offer to May 5th with a buy one at 7.99 and get one free in their on-line flyer that is good at the retail stores. Auto zone deal is 24oz in two separate bottles vs Advance Auto with the 20oz bottle at 6.99 that is a on-line offer only. I think the auto zone deal is better.

Well, at Auto Zone you get 3oz per dollar.

At Advanced Auto you get 2.86oz per dollar.

So you would be correct.

12 oz is not enough for the c5 tank. if you use 2 bottles of techron youll screw everything up.

I bought the 20oz on sale in the store.

The 12oz bottle says it treats up to 12 gallons of gas, so 2 bottles would treat up to 24 gallons. You're not going to "screw everything up" if you added 2 12oz bottles to a full tank of gas (18 - 19 gallons).

I have used 2 bottles to a full tank with several corvettes, no problem, it has cured the gas gage problem! Use two bottles at a time as regular maintenance once or twice a year when going on a long trips.

I normally use one 12 oz per fill up. It normally takes @ 14 gallon per fillup.

Cured my sticky gauge and I figure the slightly lower concentration isn't that big of deal.

This is a winner of a sale for the driving seaon. Stock up at a great price.

Default How do you use Techron

I am not trying to hijack the thread, but how do you use Techron? I have used it and Seafoam (not together) about every 6 months apart. Are some using it with every fill up, or on a periodic basis, say like every 6 months? Just curious.

Using it every fill up would be a waste of money. Most guys will go somewhere in the 6 month or every oil change area. I usually go every oil change or before a road trip.
