"Check Engine" warning light

"Check Engine" warning light
The "Check Engine" warning went on. The oil level was a quart low, ready for an oil change. I changed oil, re set "oil change" warning, but the "Check Engine" light is still on. How do I re set this.

You need to pull the codes or at least review them in the DIC. Once you pull them you just hit the Reset button on the DIC control area. There is a sticky above on how to retrieve the codes and what many mean to you.

The reset procedure on the DIC sometimes takes a few times to work. I've found it easier to use the other procedure.
Turn the key to "on", but don't start. Pump the accelerator pedal three times. That clears the oil life monitor instantly.
