Ok guys I hate to start another electrical Gremlin thread, but I don't know what else to do.
Here are my symptoms;
With the Headlights off, if I hit the brakes, my dash lights flicker for about 4 seconds, then stop. If I use either of the turn signals, both of the dash indicators blink, and both turn signals blink.
With the headlights on, both turn signal indicators stay lit constantly, unless you use the turn signal, then they blink together. Neither of the amber running lights on the front come on, but the tail lights operate normally with the exception of the turn signals both blinking when either of them is in use.
Here's what I've done before; When this originally started, I read about cleaning the grounds behind the headlights, and after cleaning the one on the passenger side, it was fixed. And let me mention, when I say I cleaned them, I CLEANED them. I took the plug apart and cleaned everything. When it started doing the exact same thing again, I just figured I would do the same thing again, with the same result. NO luck. Any suggestions?
barberben; being that there are few cars that are so dependent on having a good working ground system as the Corvette ( for obvious reasons). And that history and experience always points us to the grounds for electrical problems first. PLUS you've had pointed success ( if only temperary) to the ground in one area of your electrical issue. I would locate and 'clean' all of the ground locations ( turn signal, tail light, running light, ect) involved in that system.
The above comments apply generally to all Corvettes .And since I have no idea where you live , the condition of the enviroment or your car, model year, mileage, history or how its used its hard to be more specific.

My car is a 2001 convertible, with 41,000 miles. I live near Winston Salem, NC. When you say to clean all the grounds, are you saying clean all of the grounding points on the chassis?
OK guys. I just re-cleaned both of the grounding points behind the headlights. I even replaced the eyelet connector on the 2 wires on the passenger side. I cleaned the splice packs with electrical cleaner, and even used dielectric grease. Still no change in the symptoms. Which ground point(s) should I start checking next. I have already cleaned the one near the battery. Thanks guys.
Ben; do you have voltage to the amber lights? Do you have high beams and backup lites? mirror , door , hoodlite, ect. make a list of all lites that work and those that don't. Make a list.
Have you looked at the fuse box ( passenger foot well) for obvious conditions.
Do you have any DTC codes? Determine if your Body Control Module (BCM) DTCs are present. Your GM service manual has the lighting system diagnostic check lists.
Flickering , in my 45 year experience is ground related area I check first.
