Add another member to the 11 second club of cars built by FASTech. The track prep was perfect for the O'Reilly Drag Racing Series, although there were alot of delays. I was competing in the Toyo Tires Street class. Run #1 was a 12.26(the car spun on the 1-2 shift and activated the A.H.). Run #2 was almost a perfect run. The car launched hard and went through three gears without a hitch. The end result was an 11.983 run @ 116 mph. That was on Runflats and the stock converter  . I was given a list of things to buy from the Tech guys for breaking into the 11's :D . Run number three was a bust as I let off to soon at the end and ran a 12.26 on a 12.05 dial in. Thanks to Sean and the crew at Fastech for building a Bad butt vette. And also, I would like to thank the K&B Motorsports team for all their hospitality. Here are the specifics for the 11 second run:
Thanks for all the kind words everyone. Even though I eeked into the 11 second club, it's great to be a member. It was good meeting you also Touring. Hey Brent, where have you been?

Hey - I have been out of town on two different trips, but I am back now and ready to play! HeHe :D
LosRed85, what were your track times (1/8 or 1/4) before the heads and cam? I am coming up the route you took with my 2002, but am opting for the converter mod first, then H/C.
Slap a converter in your car and mid 11's will be a snap with good traction!
Great times for the stock converter and run flats!
RWhite the fastest the car ran stock was a 8.67 @ 83.75 in the 1/8 13.35 @ 107 in the 1/4. I am currently considering which mods to do next. The converter would make the car faster at the track but, I am a little worried about how it will affect the car on the street. It definitely needs stickier tires, I will probably go the Nitto DR route. And that darn 150 shot NX kit keeps calling my name :D .

My converter and gears go in early next week. You're welcome to a ride (assuming I can have one :) ) when I get it back.
