Exhaust tips question

Exhaust tips question
On installing exhaust tips, would I have to drill holes or can I just bolt them on? Does it depend on the manufacturer? Thankyou

Most manufacturers give the "option" of drilling and screwing in, but I think the wide oval dual tips bolt/clamp on, and the MidAmerica and Corsa ones have spring clips that eventually fall off. I went ahead and drilled, it was a simple 4 holes, and then gave up on getting the screws in. I had a friend spot weld 2 of the 4 clips in each tip, took maybe a 2 minutes.

thankyou. I just ordered some tips of ebay for a cheap price. Now I will probably have someone weld it on. thanks again.
