I purchased a 99 vert about a year ago for my wife. I found that the seat controls for the driver seat don't all function as intended. The seat moves front to back and up and down but the other controls don't work. I hear the motor running but the air bags do not inflate and adjust the seat. The previous owner was a large guy and the bolster showed a bit more wear than I expected after only 17500 miles. What's broken and how can I fix it? Passenger side is OK. I am considering replacing the seat covers and perhaps repairing the problem at that time. I am a Di**, saw the answer in another thread. Thanks Please remove.

Reason: found answers in thread.
The nipples on the bladder inside the seat is know to break, do a search-a few guys have fixed the nipple or replaced the bladder with a blood pressure band for a fraction of the price of a new bladder.
If it’s all of the airbags that won’t inflate, it could be the pump. Seems unlikely that the all four airbags would break. Nevertheless, I second Lyle at c&s. Watch his YouTube video on how to break down the seats. You can likely diagnose the problem yourself. If you decide to replace the leather be sure and get new foam too (corvette America is a favorite on this forum).
The OP never gave an update on what resolved his problem 9 years ago. I am very relaxed but thank you for offering that recommendation.
no worries. You seem like an inherently angry person who spreads negativity on the internet. I’m glad this forum is a venting mechanism for you. Cheers mate!
Not an angry person at all and positive 99% all the time. You are the one that seems to have a problem. Why don’t you start your own thread regarding this issue if you have all the answers.
