Spindle nut size?

Can someone confirm the size of the spindle nut on a C5?

I didn't think that sounded right. I just walked out to the shop and put my 6 sided impact socket on the spindle nut - it's a 33 mm socket. 2001 C5 Z06

It's 33mm- not 34; just bought it and did the grease thing last month.

Better yet, the stickys at the top of this page- 'Ultimate DYI'- is the best first source
