Need 02Z Front Brake pad tips
1. pull off the wheel
2. remove the retaining bolts on the back of the caliper. The caliper is a floating style, so the float pins will spin. They have a flat side that will work with a 14mm wrench to keep them from turning.
3. pull the caliper off
4. pull pads out
5. replace pads
6. Squeeze the piston back into the caliper so there's room for the new pads. Easiest way is with a C clamp.
7. put it back together.
Pads: Stock coupe or Z06 factory pads are great and dusty. Hawk HP+ are noisy, dirty but great for the track. Factory ceramics are cheap, work almost as well as stock, and are super clean on the wheels. Not so great on the track though - they fall apart with severe heat.
