Advice
My tuner said the going from 2.73 to 3.42 gears in my stock but tuned 04 C5 would lower my et by as much as .5 tenths. Anyone that has done this swap picked up that much ?

i got a reliable .15 reduction going from the 3.15 to 3.42; which is only an 8.6% change in ratio. The 2.73 to 3.42 would be a 25% change 
There's a good chance you will see -at least- a 3.5 to 4 tenth improvement... and maybe the 5 tenths - if you can master the launch.
