My battery recently died and I jumped it off, when I got in it to drive the check engine light was on. I checked the codes and it did not show any current codes. I was just wondering if it was me jumping the car off the made the check engine light come on. I reset it and it did not come back on. Thanks for the help.
It looks like none of the codes have been cleared, so there are several. They are as follows.
B2587H
B2592H
B2282H
B2284H
B2262H
B2264H
B2283H
B2285H
U1016H
U1064H
U1096H
Then at the end it says 10-PCM 1 CODE
I reset all the codes and the check engine light came back on with U1064 AND THE PCM CODE WAS P0300 any ideas of where I should look first, I looked at the codes and one was loss of communication with the BCM and the other was engine misfire. Thanks for any help.
A place to check is the rear of the driver's side head where there is a ground connection for all of the coil packs and injectors. If that has come lose, it will cause this code.
