I installed a pair of cold airscreens last fall. They looked like something simple, but it really wasn't. It took a lot of squeezing and twisting, and working by feel. I'm no expert on it this subject, and only did it once, while the car was jacked up about a foot. I think i had to remove the screws along the bottom of the spoiler and unsnap the fog light wiring harness clips. I also used a 1/4 inch ratchet with a long universal extension to remove and install the new screens. I remember my hands being sore when it was all over. Working in tight spaces isn't the most fun----but the screens were worth the effort. :D

Chad,

Here is what you do. put the grille in the insert all the way. Then run masking tape on the car right next to the edge of the grille on both the upr. and lwr.. Then remove the grille. Buy some adhesive backed velcro at orchard supply, paint dept. etc. adhere four 2" patchs on the upr. and lower outer area of grillel, about 1/4" back from the edge. Now adhere the mate velcro to the car 1/4" back from the tape, the correct width apart as to line up with grille. Get a couple smooth pieces of paper, magazine cover works. hold them between the velcro as you push the grille into the car again. Now when holding the grille all the way in pull the paper out. This will insure the velcro wont bight the mate as your pushing it into position. If you ever have to remove, just take a plastic spatchila and seperate the velcro. The grilles will never come out, if you use this method. Provided your not running a bottom feeder air cleaner, you should remove the plastic panel behind the screen. Jack the car up remove the center spoiler. Unbolt the plastic inserts 10mm head on the bolts I think, and wrestle them out. You have to distort them around your driving lights, But they'll come out this wah no problem. Z06 cars did not have those panels at all. Take care, Matt Rohr call if you get stuck(408)4979168 :chevy
