Default Installed ACA HID's.. 1 small problem

I just installed my ACA HID's I got from JW. Everthing went good. They work properly, throw amazing light, so I figured I connected it all correctly. However for some weird reason my hi beam indicator is always lit up on my gauge cluster. I dont know why this would be.

Anyone?

Thanks

do a once over on your connections to the +terminal on the fuse box and the grounds in your battery tray area. These are the wires that allow the high beams to be on with the lows. something is wrong in your circuitry here. also make sure the ground you used is very clean. i drilled a new hole for mine because the bolt head broke off it was so rusted. also take a look at this great write up from Patches: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...otsa-pics.html

same here, but i just left it that way. My brights still work if i pull the lever back.

you need some perma-brights, then shoestring can be your best friend

Checked all wiring again, and all connections at fuse box area. Everything seems right. Not gonna worry, since other people have the same weird phenomenon. I get the jiggle at the cutoff area on bumpy surfaces, but I dont care. They still look sick awesome! Worth every penny! Thanks again Johnathan!

Just to be clear. The brights indicator stays on all the time, or just when the low beams are turned on?

Hi. The brights indicator stays on all the time. Even when I pull the lever to turn on the brights. FWIW the brights indicator dims slightly when the brights are actually on. The indicator is brightest when no brights are on.

I've never heard of this before after selling tons of these lights.

You don't have highs correct? If not something isn't right. Did you check your high beam fuses? Fuses on the harnesses?

The slight jiggle is normal with the pop ups. You just can't see it with stock bulbs.

They shouldn't bounce all over the place, but they might have a slight jiggle over bumps.

Hey Johnathan. Its a slight jiggle only on bumpy surfaces or my backlane. No issues otherwise. No I DO have brights. EVERYTHING functions 100% normally as it should. Just the dash brights "blue light" is lit up as soon as I turn on my headlights. When I turn the brights on, it stays on as it should ( the dash light). Havent checked any fuses. Stranger things happened. Will do tomorrow. Thanks
