2000 vette - blows cool air but air flow through vents seems restricted - doesn't change much when you move settings (i.e. front vents, floor vents, vents along windshield) - when it blows out the front vents it blow a little from others - turning fan up only helps a little - vacuum block??
I have noticed the same problem on mine too the last two years. Higher velocity out of the passenger side which to both my wife and me feel colder because I turn the velocity up to get cold on my side. I look forward to an answer to your post.
Try disconnecting the battery for a min and then reconecting. It is supposed to recalibrate something. I did it today because the drivers side was not blowing cold but the passenger side was. Worked like a charm. I will see if i can find the post that I took the advice from. Maybe it will save you a few doll hairs. Good luck.
I don't want to speak for Irish Whiskey but it sounds like he and I have cold air just not the same velocity from both sides. I know mine is full of freon, there seems to be a restriction or redirection of air with more towards the passenger side.
Check for vacuum at purple hose under passenger dash
Mine blew out of all outlets until I replaced 90% of my vacuum lines under the hood that were deteriorated by battery acid. Check valve in right front fender was also bad.. Many posts on here on how to correct this.
