Head Light Problem
I have searched for anyone else with a similar problem and have not found anything. The headlights on my 01 open and close fine but the passenger side headlight won't open fully automatically or manually. it is about 95% open, when I turn the adjustment manually it consistantly drops back to the 95% position.
Have a lost gear teeth at the upper position or could there a different problem?

Sounds like my problem looks like the stop tab has worn down.

If I read your post correctly it was your drivers side. Also, my passenger side goes down fine and stays there. When I turn on the lights the passenger side goes up but not fully.

Ahh I see maybe I should read it twice next time. I don't think there are stops on the passenger side I'm actually pretty sure of it. I wonder if the nylon gear is starting to go out. Do you hear and noises coming from the motor housing?
