Hello all. I recently purchased a 2000 C5 Corvette with 99,500 miles. It is in nice condition considering the miles. Yesterday I noticed an odd issue. After being out for a drive for about twenty minutes I pulled into my driveway and pressed both window up buttons while the doors were closed. The passenger side window went up as it normally does but the driver's side did not. There was no wine, no mechanical sound that would indicate that the window motor was at fault. I then exited the car, manually locked the doors, and closed the door. I then unlocked the car door, sat in the car with the door ajar, pressed the window up button, and the window went up. I then pressed the lock button, and all doors locked.
From my initial diagnosis it seems that the power door lock and the power window on the driver's side door work fine when the door is fully ajar, but not at all when it is shut. As a side note, the power mirror on all doors work regardless of the door position.
Any clues, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance and I look forward to hearing back from some members.
