I plan on mounting it in center rear compartment, and I have a remote bottle opener and warmer. What's the best way to mount the bottle? Want to be sure its easy to remove when its time to get it refilled.
Re: Mounting Nitrous Bottle...How'd you do it? (C5-VERT)
Can you tell me if the bottle is mounted to a plate or board which is in turn fastened to the bottom of the storage compartment? Since I am considering doing the same thiing, please fill me in on all the details. TIA

Mounted my bottle to copper plate. Make sure and rotate bottle about 35 degree angle to take advantage of bottle siphon tube.
Also make sure and install blow off vent line, its a nice safety:)
There is no need to bolt mounting plate down, if you cut mounting plate correct, fit will be tight.

Any reason why you used a copper plate? I just carpeted a 1/2 sheet of particle board.
Did you just drill a hole for the blow down line? I need to go ahead and do mine...

C5-VERT
I happened to have some nice polished cooper plate around
Yes I did drill hole for blow down line, also used rubber groumet to seal line in hole.

Are you able to get all of your nitrous out with your bottle NOT angled?
Not sure exactly what you mean. The top of the bottle is higher than the bottom if that is what you mean. The brackets from TNT take car of that. Maybe the photo doesn't show the angle all that well.

since i sell, install and service nitrous, i installed mine out in the open for 'advertisement' purposes. i spend a ton of time at the track. the kids go nuts when they see it. promotes sales. + i wanted the 15lb bottle.

Everyone has an awesome setup! I can't wait to leave work to start on mine!!! I plan on mounting the bottle to a piece of carpeted wood so I can just take the entire thing out when I need it refilled. Thanks for the tips guys!

I noticed your bottle was not rotated 35 degrees like most people do. That way under accelaration all of the nitrous gets picked up.

Will the track inspector pass the N2O without the plate being mounted to the storage compartment or aren't they checking that close. Shiftn6, what is the little black and red box? Also, will the storage compartment cover filt flat with your install?
Everyone, Where did you run your main N2O line and why?
Everyone, this info is really great!! I hope to use bits and pieces of the things you have done.

Thanks for all the input!!
If you make the Plate/Board the right size it fits very snug. Trust me, it will not move.
I am pretty sure most people run the nitrous line down the right side of the car and through the rubber grommet in the firewall that is located behind the battery. Very simple.

It is a Mallory Window Switch. Right now I can't put the cover on because of the blowdown tube. I am currently changing that tube to a braided hose, then the cover will fit.
