Default Newbee 2000 coupe. Muffler question.

Is it possible to change mufflers without a lift? I have a good shop jack and stands but no lift access. It has an unidentified borla exhaust on it now, I'll post some pictures when I get the car and see if somone can tell me what kind they are.
Thanks
Joe

Why change them? Borla's don't sound too bad. If the system isn't welded you can get it done on jack stands. I had a muffler shop do mine for $75.00, and then tack them at the joints after he got them straight. Been on 10 years and still sounds good. They are B&B route 66's and are quiet until you push the loud pedal. Good Luck!! rodb

Muffler shop installed mine for $75.00 also. You'd need to get the rear of the car up quite a ways to do it in your driveway.

I did my catback in my driveway. Was able to pull one side out without cutting it... but the other I had to cut. The hardest part was getting the tips right.

I also did my Corsa install on my driveway. I cut the OEM pipes to remove them since they are worth little to nothing. Would have been worth the $75 to have a muffler shop do it though.

I installed my Z06 TI's on over a garage floor pit.

No jacking, lifting, or cutting required!
