Differences EBCM´s

Does anybody knows, what is the difference between 2001-2002 and later EBCMs?
Can I screw a 2003 EBCM in a 2002 Car?

Or later EBCMs from ca C6 (if this are better)?

here are the different EBCMs by part # & model year...only the specific part # can be used with the specified model year(s) it was designed for:

Part Number: 10343433 All 2003-2004
Part Number: 12216561 All 2001-2002
Part Number: 9367071 All 1999-2000 w/o Control Active Brakes

I know the numbers.

It also not possible, take a 2003 EBCM on a 2002 Vette.
Also not, if I also take a 2003 EBVM?
