I am about to pull the trigger on the following setup for my 1999 Convertible. I have read countless threads and I believe these will work perfectly on my car (without affecting traction control system, speedometer, etc.).
Not sure why people go with 9.5 in front, to each his own, but I think the handling is better with the stock width. Anyway, if you're going to go with 9.5s, run a 275/35. closer diameter to stock. the 265 is 1/2" smaller.
I had 275's on the front and my car tracked like crap.......... I went with 255's in the front and I got 305's in the back right now.... car rides like its on rails
I agree with LightFighter. 255s are all you need up front...C5s don't understeer, even with the stock 245s. The 255/40 is also almost exactly same diameter as stock. Not so with the 265/35 as already mentioned.

Wheels:
18x9.5 (57mm offset)
19x11 (65mm offset)
Tires: Nitto Invo
265/35/18
285/35/19
Will I be OK with this setup? Thanks, John
I went with the stock 2006 Z06 size 275/35/18 and 325/30/19 on my 2004 read C5 gets Blinged in Vette magazine
