We keep telling you what the problem may be. If you're in denial, it take less than 5 minutes to pull the MAF off and spray some MAF cleaner in there. Once you learn it's not the MAF, change your plugs and 02 sensors.

Just one quick question. How wil I know if an o2 sensor is shot?
You dont say how old your plugs are,often a misfire is felt under load and at low rpm.You should have a cylinder misfire in that case though.
While I don't want to be lumped into the "throw these parts at it" group, I have remedied the same symptoms on my C5 (and other cars) with a new set of plugs. And oddly enough I never saw a misfire code with my '02 when it would stumble at low RPM acceleration because of old plugs.
You're at 76k. If the plugs and wires are original, it's time anyway.

Ditto. Mine were a combination of a fouled 02 and 2 fouled plugs. I changed out both and it ran normal.
It is a common mistake to over oil those filters and foul up your MAF.Since it started after you serviced the filter,I would start by cleaning your MAF.You can buy a spray product just for this at any parts store.
