Would anyone be against removing one of the fans from the fan system? With HP tuners, setting one of the fans to come on from the start of the car and at high speed, running water, 160' stat would the car still run into overheating problems?
reason for this is clearance issues on a blower kit.
Don't be too quick to judge - it's a fair question. The fans do nothing at speeds above 30MPH or so, but at lower speeds, they are fundamental. If you're never in traffic and don't spend time at traffic lights, it's totally fine to do a fan delete. If you do a search, you might find that some people have gone to a single pusher fan in the front, provided you don't have a cold air (or supercharger) intake in the way.
If you want to remove just one of the fans, check the schematic to see if they are wired in series or parallel and make sure you do it right, but one fan is certainly better than none and you'll be fine if you don't spend a lot of time at low speeds.
