Need help selecting tire widths
I have the Mallett 396's in 17x9.5's front and 18X9.5's rear. When I bought them they told me it was for stock size tires. But the fronts are an 1" wider than the stock rims. The 245's work fine but you can tell the tires are too small for the rims. I'm looking to put 265's in the front and 275's in the rear. How will this affect my handling? I've been told that the wider tires in the front will cause the rears to be loose on hard turns and it will be easier to spin the car. I could put 295's on the rears but there would be to much bulge and wouldn't handle as well. What is the best combo I can use with these wheel widths?
