It's been a while, but I believe the TB mouth is 101mm which is just a hair shy of 4". 101/25.4 = 3.976"
If you buy an aftermarket (smooth) coupler to get rid of the stock accordian coupler, you need a reducer coupler that goes from 3.75" to 4". If my memory serves me correctly, the MAF takes the 3.75" side and the TB takes the 4".
