Default clb

its killing me i finally recieved the clb (column lock bypass) from the known company on the forum from houston thats made these products from the begining. anyways i installed it used the cigarette liter to help reset the column lock didnt work so i decided to hook a charger to my battery to give the battery more juice to see if thats the problem.
still didnt work.
i pulled both fuses under the passenger fuse box 29 and 25.
still didnt work
hooked the battery back up to a car this time with the other car idling at 2500 rpm for about 4-5 mins
still no luck
i then disconnected the battery
still no luck!

i just want to drive my
z06 its killing me

any ideas of what i should do?
yes i know there are posts but i couldnt find anything and i didnt want to go 50 pages back to be the very last post so im starting a new one.

thanks in advance!

the cigarette lighter part is only to unlock your wheel if it's stuck locked. Did you install the CLB? Do you have any info on previous recall work done? Are you having the 2mph shut down?

Is your column locked?
(cannot tell from your post if you cannot drive the car because the column is locked or if you are getting a fuel shutoff by the BCM)

You have to unlock the column before installing the bypass.
When you connected the power cord from the lighter, did you hear the actuator cycle to the unlocked position?

If not, you might try connecting power from the lighter again, and tap on the column below the column lock actuator to see if you can get it to retract.
If you cannot get it to retract, you may have to remove the lock plate and/or the actuator from the column.

As mentioned, make sure you are connecting the power from the lighter directly to the actuator, and you do not have the Harness K relay still installed.

By the sound of things and the way your going with this issue, I think it would be best for you to post up on the Corvette Forum in your immediate area for some help. That isn't a very hard job. Good luck.
