A4 column lock recall?????

A4 column lock recall?????
I bit the bullet & had the recall done today. It went pretty well except
they had a hard time pulling the steering wheel off. One question Ihave for those of you who had this done.Should I still hear the lock
motor run every time I turn the engine on & off????

Same here. It has been fine since the TSB. Only locked 1 time before that, and GM fixed that issue with the bypass. Been happy with it since.

Received another notice today from GM, I just refuse to have it done. Maybe one day! I just like the added theft prevention feature.
