I've never sat in the passenger seat of my car so I don't know. On the other hand, though... I am considering having Mr. Goodwrench fix the driverside (under warrenty of course) but I'm not so sure I want it screwed with.
GM just issued a TSB on this malady. As long as you're under warranty, I'd take it to a reputable GM shop and have them fix it at their cost. For the TSB #, do a search on "seat rock" or something similar. I know I saw the post within the last couple weeks. Good luck.

Re: Passenger seat rocks too (123vette456)
Both of mine rock. In fact, the passenger seat is worse than the driver's seat, go figure! Hope to get this fixed soon, but since the car is out of warranty, well....those parts are damn expensive!
