Donaldson Blackwing maintanance
Is the Blackwing ready to go as is, or does it need oiled when new? What mileage should the filter be washed and oiled? My instructions are missing in action.

It comes pre-oiled and ready to go..
The directions state: "Cleaning your high performance air filter is recommended between 50,000 and 100,000 miles on typical driving applications"
I plan to clean it when it looks like it needs to be cleaned! 10K miles on mine so far and it only looks slightly 'black' where it was blue when it was new.
