Default Lights have gone crazy

2000 C5 - Came home last night and turned the headlights off. Headlights went off but did not retract. Manually lowered lights then turned the headlights on they did illuminate but they did not open….

Now for the rest of the story…the parking lights (front and rear) will not come on and the driving lights do not come on. Left turn signal causes the dashboard lights to surge with the left turn signal, the left front & rear turn signals to blink, both driving lights to blink, and the right side front & rear turn signals to blink, but not as bright as the left side. Right turn signal works fine.

Turned the headlights on again both illuminated and this time the left side came up and all other lights acted the same as described above including the lack of tail lights. Turned headlights off and headlight did not retract.

Brake lights work fine in all modes.

Battery is 18 months old and reads 12.35 volts, engine off.

DTC’s
B0502 HC RH DRL Relay Circuit
B0507 HC LH DRL Relay Circuit
B2482 HC Backup Lamp Relay Circuit (Backup lights work)

Tomorrow I plan on checking 1) the door wiring harness (per Bill Curlee’s write up), 2) Battery connections, 3) as many ground connections (per another of Bill Curlee’s write ups) as I can find. Special "THANKS" to Mr. Curlee!

Does anyone have any other suggestions or are there other applicable threads that I haven’t found. Thanks in advance for the help!
