Where's the intake noise?
Passed the 500 mile mark on my new C5 convertible this week and finally got a chance to plant my right foot into the wood a bit for the first time.
A religious experience, to be sure. MmmBoy. The stock exhaust sound is a bit weak, kind of like an angry UPS truck, but I've read about that. It will be dealt with shortly.
What I didn't expect was the total lack of intake noise. None. Zero. Nada.
I'm used to my American V8's having a good loud intake noise. I'm already awaiting a BlackWing from LAPD.
My question is, does the BlackWing provide more noise or is it more an issue with the LS1 in general? I see endless posts regarding exhaust sound, but I don't recall intake noise being an issue.

Yes, more intake noise with the Blackwing!!!! I have Corsa Indys and the Blackwing. You will LOVE it!!!!!! Welcome to the Forum :cheers:

I have the Halltech Sidewinder and when i give it gas in neutral you can hear lots of air getting sucked! Especially when the hood is open, it's great.
