HUD does not seem correct?

HUD does not seem correct?
This has prolly been covered although I could not find anything specific to my issue.
Are my wife and I nuts or does our HUD not adjust up as high on the windshield as it used to?
We have not driven it in a few months, but when I drove it it seemed the HUD did not go up high enough or at least like it did?
Then My wife takes the car to work and calls and says the same thing.
I never told her what I thought.
It sure appears to be NOT going as high, it does adjust tho. Is it us?
Or can this happen and if so what do I look for.

It is a factory deal and the car is a 2004 with 20k on the clock.

Thank you very much, sorry I was lame and could not find that post...
Reality sucks, I was hoping for an easy fix.... It may not be that hard but my time is consumed for a while and the funds to drop it off is not good either!!
But mostly I have little trust in any shop/dealer taking my dash apart!!
I'll have to tell my wife to grow her torso or sit on a pillow unti I can get to it
