100K mile checks
Ok, My wifes 2004 has just over 100K and with the ambient air temps climbing here she has been seeing the high coolant temp message on the DIC. So its time to fix up the cooling system, and I have some questions.
Since everything is 6 years old and has those kind of miles should I plan on replacing hoses?
New thermostat and coolant flush are #1
How hard is it to pull the radiator on an automatic (I've done it on an 88 and my 92 6spd)? Any gotchas? I want to clean it out and straighten and bent fins. I know on my c4's I've gotten a LOT more crud out of them by removing the radiator.
Any write ups for replacing the thermostat or is it pretty obvious like older 350's?
Anything I need to remove to make sure all the old coolant is out before I put fresh in it?
While I have it opened up for this what else should I replace "because"?
Has original spark plugs and wires, runs fantastic and still gets the same mileage. I assume since she doesn't have any other issues I don't need to replace o2 sensors.
