Has any one else recently bought the prt system and had a problem with the passenger side tips lining up straight or angled upwards? If so what exhaust tips do you have?Wondering if it is just the oval slants.
Re: problem with prt exhaust tips lining up straight (blazzzn 28)
I had the quad ovals and I did everything I could to get them to line up. I couldn't get them straight and I didn't like the cabin resonance so I got rid of them! I loved the sound, but too much hassle with aligning the tips and resonance!
Re: problem with prt exhaust tips lining up straight (C5LOU)
My passenger side is off as well. The pipes coming out of the muffler are coming out at an angle, so no matter what you do, the tips will not line up with the driver's side, which are straight..... Must be a production problem I'll bet. :yesnod:

No one I know who has the quad oval tips has been able to get them to line up perfectly. Check other forum members sigs, you'll notice they're out.
I have the Speedway tiips and played with them for a loooong time (loosen the 1st bolt attaching to the exhaust pipe and move them til your happy) and they are about as perfect as I can get them. I used a ruler to measure hieght from ground to lower tip edge to get it right. Good luck.
BTW, I grew up in Bayshore. A graduate of the long defunct Pewter Tankard.

Re: problem with prt exhaust tips lining up straight (pmarone)
I had trouble lineing my tips up also.I loosend up all the bolts and clamps then lined up the tips and c-clamped the tips to a two by four. While still clamped tight I tightened all the bolts and clamps. then I checked te rubber hanger mount and since the hanger is smaller than the mount it will slide sideways a little bit so I wedged a small piece of wood in the rubber mount to keep it from moving.Once everything was tight I removed the c-clamps and its stayed straight ever since.I hope this helps.

Did B&B RT 66 Quad Oval both were slanted as crap.. I went to 2 other
shops then a Meinike shop did some cutting and bending that the other
morons didnt do. Then the folks at Arizona wanted to ship the exhaust
systems back.Screw it I paid Meinike the extra bucks same day they are
a lot better .I like the looks sound and quality of B&b they need to
"straighten theyre pipes" Enough ... lot of B.S Time etc .Move On.

Re: problem with prt exhaust tips lining up straight (rappskull)
I had heard this from other members in our club about the B&B's. I love there sound but looks like it's the Cosa Indys for me. The muffler shop I use has install both and has had trouble w/ the B&B's most of the time. Seems the Corsa's fit much better. JMO
