Convertible lid problems
When I open my convertible lid with the button to lower the top, the lid cant seem to support itself. I must hold the lid up with one hand and lower the roof with the other hand or supporting the lid on my shoulder.
This is somewhat tricky so does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Mine started doing this after having the car parked for 2 years, I'm pretty sure the struts are just defective.
Probably not that expensive to replace.
Also, the truck won't pop up any more, have to use my fingers to lift it up and hold it as well.
Going down the highway on rough patches you can hear that convertible top cover bouncing, I think the struts help keep it stable while being in the down position also.
