New Cats
I have a 2000 Roadster that I purchaced in
vegas but was originally sold in Arizona. After I bought the vehicle in 03 I brought it back to California and had no problem registering it. Years passed and now its time to get another smog. Seems one of the Cats are going bad. The mechanic says I have to buy a California Model, as anything else will not pass.
My question is the difference in price leads me to want to explore purchasing and having the cat installed in Nevada (as it is has allways been an OEM 49 state model) and bring it back for inspection.
Has anyone tried this?
