Default Tune question

I had to change my oil pressure sensor on my 2000 Vert and one thing lead to another and I ended up with a LS6 intake, BBK 80mm throttle body and K&N CAI. Question is, do I need to have a tune done after I do the install? I plan on adding a cat back and maybe an underdrive pulley but that will be it.
Will the computer learn the curve or do I need to spend the loot?

That is a good question. I would run the car for a little bit and see if the computer can learn the changes. Typically you do not have to retune a car for an LS6 intake manifold but the throttle body might throw it off enough to need a tune.

Thank you sir, BBK says that the throttle body will not effect the factory tune and the computer will learn the curve. I was just concerned about throwing the whole intake side at it at once.

I would ditch the 80MM T-body---It's really an overkill for a stock cubed engine and a stock hds/cam engine ( IMO)--It may also create some idle and surging issues--and some positive fuel trims--AND without a tuner or data logger you won't be able to tell---The problem with positive fuel trims ( adding fuel for a lean condition proably because of the 80MM) is that even if the trims are = at part throttle-- whatever the + fuel trim is just before going to WOT--that % will also then be added to your WOT fueling as well--( as a safety) so this makes all your WOT pig rich and your engine gets lazy---

PS : you would be better to have your TB professionally ported and that will improve throttle response and addd 5-8 RWHP and won't cause any issues--
