Default PO174 trouble code

Drove from charlotte to atlanta and back to charlotte this weekend in my 02 corvette. longtubes, off road xpipe, intake, granetelli maf, untuned. i replaced the maf after the oil on the filters i got with my intake ruined the stock maf (dont buy granetelli intakes). i got into atlanta and after idling and driving through town it started to run funny like a real faint miss. engine light popped up and then went away. PO174. i turned the car off and back on and the code went from history and current back to just history. ran fine last 2 days. drove back from atlanta, same story when i got back to charlotte. i understand that it means that my long term fuel trim has exceeded its limits and is running lean. car does smell like its running way too rich at idle. i replaced the maf about 1 month ago and havent had a problem with the car since replacing the maf. I believe thats all the details, looking for some input on where to start looking. thanks, oh and i did check for an air leak after the maf and the pcv tube, no leaks as far as i could tell.
