do all the usual things - check fluid level ,check for leaks,etc.
As you probably know the A4 is the weak link in your drive train.Its a good bet that your 1-2 clutch pack is starting to go. Either get it checked out, add a trani lub that's designed to limit slipping and get ready to call RPM transmissions. Sorry
