Default HVAC trouble

Hey guys....i have been doing some looking around on here and testing but im still having some HVAC issues with my 04vet

Problem:
Drivers side is blowing warm air while pass side is blow cool air.

Codes:
99 - B0361 - Left Act Feedback Short to GND
99 - B0367 - Right Act Feedback Open

First attempt:
Check freon levels. High side 150-160 low side 30-35

Second attempt:
Disassemble and remove left actuator. Opened the case and inspected the plastic gears. All looked good, however i rotated them as recommended in the postings about reindexing. Applied power and changed the air temp and visually saw the actuator working from line to line. Reinstalled. Pulled Fuse 27 & 18 for 1-2min with AC set at 60deg. Reinstalled fuses and started up system Driver still hot and pass still cold. Same codes with H&C

Third attempt:
Removed the dash to get into the HVAC air box and visually inspected both doors operating normally being opened and closed to the same max/min. Manually opened the closed the doors, sprayed a bit of silicone spray on the door to make sure i had full movement. Removed Right side actuator and installed on leftside. Clear all codes except B0361 - Left Act Feedback Short to GND.

Fourth attempt:
Voltage check on pin 10 & GND - 5V constant
pin 6 (blue) & GND - 2.5V until a change in temp is requested then hits either 5V or 0V before stabilizing at 2.5V. This is per GM Manual
Also checked Right side to confirm both are getting the same voltage.

Fifth attempt:
Threw hands in the air grabbed a bottle of scotch for a bit and then found bed wondering what the heck i am missing.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advanced!

If you already tried turning the gear both counter clockwise and clockwise...I would just go ahead and get a new driver side actuator. There is a very small chance that the head unit itself is messing up but I'd do the actuator first as that's what your code is.

There's another thread that I replied to about 10 threads below this one...check out the AC 101 link that I put in that one.

Yea i thought it could be the actuator thats why i switched the right and left actuator assuming i would have my codes switch which did not happen.

The fix is not to switch the actuators. Did you read either the AC 101 post or the post about REINDEXING YOUR AC ACTUATORS?

I'd still reindex it if you have the dash off, you're going to have to take it off to put a new one on anyway so you might as well try.

Just turn the gear two teeth one way and hook it back up with the dash and all still out of the car. Turn the key on and reset your codes..if it comes back, open it back up and go FOUR teeth back the other way.
If this doesn't fix it, one of the gears in there is either stripped and you can't see it, gummed up...OR the head unit itself could be bad.

You could also double check your AC pressures...make sure low side is at least 35 and set the high more around 200+ but not more than 250 on these cars.
