Re: Dyno HP net and Max (WHY2KRAG)
Most folks use a 15% loss for manual transmissions, and 18 or 20% (I've seen both used) for automatics. So..... try 434 at the crank for a Mn6 and 450 or 461 at the crank for an auto.

I have heard 20% for an A4, but with a torque converter I'm really not sure in my case.

Re: Dyno HP net and Max (Speed-Racer)
I've become semi-interested in dyno results and how they work. Manily because of the high correction factors I've seen in colder weather.
Anyway, my question is about the % adjustments from the reading of RWHP to calculated FWHP. MN6 use 15% A4 use 20%.
This confuses me because I would think that an automatic would have more loss through the drivetrain than a manual.
400 rwhp divided by .85 = 470.5 FWHP but @ 20% for the A4 divided by .80 it's 500 FWHP.
