Tire Pressure Sensor repair
I have 2 Tire Pressure Sensors on my 99 FRC that are out of service. I decided to see if I could replace the battery in them.

I used a magnet on a stick to find the metal mass. I assumed that the most metal would be the battery and I was right.

I carefully carved away the surrounding potting compound being careful as I didn't know what was embedded in the potting compound.

You can see the battery and the small PCB. I had to unsolder the battery tabs from the PCB

The battery was held inplace by some white sticky tape

Next step will be to replace the battery, fab up some small strips to make the connection and to resolder it back into the sendor, then after testing, repot the area.
I'll post a follow-up when I'm done
