Need help on GT2 Coilover Install - I'm stuck
OK, I've got everything done except for the bottom mount of the front coilovers. The mount (bar) on the bottom is not at the correct angle to allow the bolts to go through them and then through the lower control arm. Aren't those bars supposed to rotate at least somewhat? At least if I'm ever going to get them mounted they will have to from what I can tell. I have moved the suspension through its entire travel to the point where it is tight on both ends of the coilover and the angle just won't work...please tell me what I am doing wrong. I've also taken one of the fronts out so I can set it on the bench to try and rotate that mount but no go.
This shouldn't be this difficult!

Just got it, put 3" bolts through it and clamped those in the vise and used the shock as a lever it finally broke loose......maybe I can still complete this today...Thanks for the encouragement.

I had to use a vice also... Once you got em busted loose they rotate easier.
