More C5 HVAC Troubles
I just purchased a 1998 convertible with automatic HVAC and was hearing an occasional clicking and whirring sound from the left actuator. I am getting actuator codes B0361 and B0363 so I think the actuator is bad. I tried disconnecting the battery to reset the system and also tried pulling fuse 27. I also cleared the codes in the DIC and waited for the doors to reset. Now comes the fun part---since I reset the system the blower motor will not work in the automatic mode (it used to work fine) but will work just fine when I manually increase the fan speed. What is going on? I am also going to check the freon levels tomorrow even though the air blows cold. Thanks.
