Default Which would you rather have ?

During a recent bench racing session, the subject of Dyno numbers vs. ET numbers came up. My belief is that dyno work can be inaccuate and still be a valuable tuning and testing of parts, tool. The cause of the discussion was the constant claims of vendors as to there packages. Anybody notice that there seems to be another 10 or 15 HP found about every other week by somebody, somewhere. I've got a top end kit, plus. And it seems most people make about the same power as me, with just some screens and an air cleaner. Throw on a set of chrome lug nuts, and I'm history! I think an ET slip trumps a dyno sheet every time. Which would you rather have, a 400 RWHP dyno slip with a 12.70 ET slip. Or, a 350 RWHP dyno slip with a 12.20 ET slip. I saw just this last year at 75-80 dragway in Md. The short time difference was insignificant, the 400 RWHP car did carry a full 2 mph more.
