Default Sea Foam-How to ?

I am taking my 402 stroker to a N.Floirda tuner for a dyno eval/run and it was suggested that I run some SeaFoam through it before I take the car there....

I have zero expieriance with Sea Foam, I do not have a pvc line (catch can)......how do I use the Sea Foam ?

Straight into the throttle body???

The more detail the better for me, I am just behind the curve with all this late model tech stuff

The reason for the sea foam is that one of the gents analyzing my previuos dyno pulls sees what he thinks may be some knock retard whick "could" be caused by the catch can sending some oil spray back into the engine anyway I am going to give her a shot and needing/wanting some expieraianced input on the how/were.and how much sea foam I should shoot intio my power plant!!!!!

Thanks

did you already buy the seafoam? Just buy the spray if not. If so, there are instructions on the can BUT just use the big hose on the passenger side of the intake manifold right behind the throttle body down low. You may have to remove the FRC to get a funnel in there..
Just pour 1/3 in tank, 1/3 in oil, 1/3 in vacuum source...

you'll need a second set of hands to keep the car idling while you slowly pour the remaining 1/3 can into the intake manifold vacuum source...as you just finish pouring have the person shut the car off or let it die. Trying to leave (FOG) some of the seafoam/fuel still in the combustion chamber un-burned.. let it sit as long as you can up to over night and then run the car up to operating temp.

Get on it a good 3-4 times all the way up to WOT in 2nd if auto, 2nd,3rd if stick...

shut it down, change the oil and filter and your done.

It's gonna smoke when you fire it up the first time after sitting and don't forget to change the oil/filter. The seafoam is designed to eat stuff away that may break down the motor oil itself..
